DANCES WITH BEES

As a child, the Ensenada-born José Antonio Aguirre Castorena dreamt of becoming a high-performance athlete, but somehow, he came upon folk dance, which he practiced for 25 years. Little did he know that that discipline would make him a better beekeeper.

HÉCTOR HERRERA

Héctor Herrera´s path as the artist known for breaking molds as part of his creative process started with a vacation to the beach when he was 14 years old, where he performed his first tattoo and never looked back.

THE HORSE ENCHANTRESS​

At the beginning of the twentieth century, a group of Russian immigrants came to Valle de Guadalupe to settle. Among them were Tania ́s ancestors. Although she was born in Ensenada, she moved around and lived in different cities during her teenage years. She eventually married a doctor and became a young mother.
